Irony

Oh goodness.

Sudden realisation that my previous entries have been so geeky and loser sounding. The only normal human sounding one was the post for Mel.

this must be the real me. A NERD! oh yea, that's what my MBTI test said too. am destined to be a nerd forever, more power to me!! ...here i go again.

As i was saying, Irony.

My brother has gone overseas(India) as a temp staff. i think that's pretty damn cool, and it shows how highly valued his Boss deems him to be. i'm not sure what he's there for, but not many temps get such opportunities for sure. sometimes it's hard, the yardsticks he sets for us, and his academic excellence that parents sometimes (possibly) unintentionally compare. nothing less of a high achiever, for sure.

That's not the point of this post anyway.

Point is the irony of him going to India. Somewhere at the start of the year i told him that i wanted to go do internship there, like for a month to experience a (TOTAL) different culture and environment, living in the slumps.(with no relation to Slumdog Millionaire whatsoever..) i thought it would be a wonderful eye-opener and experience. besides, the thought of having an entire month to only myself is kinda exciting. like taking a break from civilisation.

So anyhow, he was amused, akin to disbelief. Something along the lines of a bad idea, of all places, wouldn't be able to last a week, what's more a month in those conditions. and there are better places to choose from anyway. Haha. and now? he's the one there!

Anyway, i can't really choose a better place. Hope it's going well for him though, let test the waters for me. haha. even though he stole my light! Ah, oh well.
